Google Search Console has recently introduced Platform Properties, enabling you to add your social media profiles—including Instagram, X (formerly Twitter), TikTok, and YouTube—to Search Console. You can now monitor your social media performance and see how users discover your content through Google Search.

Your Instagram Stories can now appear in Google Search and are counted as impressions whenever they are shown in search results. If a user clicks on a Story from the search results, it is recorded as a click.
Similarly, when your video content from platforms like YouTube, TikTok, or X appears in Google Search or Google Discover, it counts as an impression. If a user clicks on the video, it is recorded as a click. If the click opens the video within Google’s built-in viewer, that click is also reported in Google Search Console.
Google Search Console also shows you which search queries are driving traffic to your Instagram, TikTok, X, and YouTube content. In the Search Performance report, you can view valuable metrics such as clicks, impressions, search queries, and other performance data, helping you understand how your social media content is performing in Google Search.
Google Said you can easly track which search terms lead people to your instagram, TikTok, Tiwtter (X) and YouTube content on search and how user or audiance is interacting with your posts and you see your social media performance report , insights reports, and achievement sections on Google Search Console

You can now add Platform Properties in Google Search Console, starting with these four social platforms: Instagram, X (formerly Twitter), TikTok, and YouTube.
The feature is rolling out gradually over the coming weeks, so it may not be available in your Google Search Console account just yet. Google has not provided an exact rollout timeline, so you’ll need to wait and keep an eye on future updates.
Google has confirmed that Platform Properties will be released gradually over the coming weeks, meaning some users will gain access before others. More and more people are already discussing this feature on social media, and it has the potential to become a major update for creators, publishers, and marketers looking to measure their social media performance through Google Search Console.
